Beyond a Product Launch: Testing and Supporting Devices in the Field

 

The development of embedded systems doesn't stop when the devices are released for the first time,

continued development can have many reasons: new whishes and requirements,different applications,

new insights and optimisations or the discovery of vulnerabilities. Addressing these points raises

challenges when trying to update devices in the field: how do we ensure the devices remains functional?

what about downtime, failover, or recovery? what is the impact on the performance of new features?

To tackle and mitigate these point we'll discuss the automated test setup and the considerations

we have to take into account.
